Villa Casanostra is a completely renovated farmhouse, located about 3 km from the town of San Ginesio (MC). The stylish renovation, carried out by the owner with particular attention to the architectural forms and to the materials typical of the rural tradition of the Marche, has bestowed a particularly pleasant atmosphere on the house. While maintaining the link with tradition, by using materials such as terracotta and wooden beams, the rooms are characterized by a modern refined taste originating from the mixing of design furnishings with other more classic ones associated with rustic tradition. The property is surrounded by a flat sunny garden with a beautiful view over the hills and surrounding countryside punctuated by fields of wheat and sunflowers. The charming pool area, just out of view of the windows of the house and surrounded by Mediterranean scrub, offers a corner of complete relaxation in harmony with the rhythms of nature.

Property description

The house has three floors. The main entrance on the ground floor opens directly into a small hallway that leads to the living area consisting of a large dining room, a sitting room with fireplace, a billiard room, a kitchen and a guest bathroom. An internal stone staircase leads up to the first floor consisting of a sitting room and four double bedrooms with four en-suite bathrooms with shower. The staircase continues up to the second floor consisting of a comfortable open-plan area with, on either side, access to a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with a whirlpool tub and to a twin bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with shower.
The completely fenced property extends over an area of approximately 3,000 sq m. The park surrounding the house lies in a wonderful panoramic position overlooking the surrounding hills, with diverse types of plants and flowers that represent the typical flora of the area. Every detail is harmoniously integrated into the frame in which it has been set, all perfectly immersed in a panorama that enhances the scenic atmosphere of the place. The swimming pool, of modern design, is surrounded by the solarium and allows you to enjoy, in complete relaxation, the summer sun and the characteristic nature of the Marche, made up of fields that descend gently down the slopes of the hills in flower. The position of the villa allows you, in fact, to fully benefit, in total and undisturbed privacy, from all the services of the house, such as the classic one of every summer holiday for families and groups of friends: the barbecue, used on the patio in front of the house for preparing summer grills in the company of your loved ones, while a large gazebo equipped with table and chairs allows guests to relax and enjoy pleasant outdoor lunches and dinners.
About 10 metres from the villa is the rectangular pool, measuring 12 x 6 m, with a constant depth of 1,4 m. Lined in PVC, it has chlorine purification and both internal and external lighting. Surrounding the pool is the terracotta-paved sunbathing area equipped with sunbeds, deck chairs, umbrella, a cozy gazebo with table and chairs and a solar shower. The pool is available to guests from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October.

In the surroundings

The villa is located a few kilometers from the centre of San Ginesio which, in turn, is located within the Monti Sibillini National Park. Thanks to its elevated position, the panorama stretches from the promontory of Monte Conero to the Umbria-Marche Apennines, reaching as far as the Gran Sasso: for this reason San Ginesio is also known as "the balcony of the Sibillini". From here you can easily reach some of the most fascinating historical borghi of the region, steeped in history and culture, such as Montefortino, Tolentino, Sarnano, Fiastra, Amandola, and Montemonaco. There are countless tours and itineraries you can take to discover little-known villages while, just 20 km away, for nature lovers, is the Abbadia di Fiastra Nature Reserve - an uncontaminated environment that preserves an extraordinary naturalistic, historical, artistic and archaeological heritage. The main services are in San Ginesio; the nearest railway station and motorway exit are in Civitanova Marche.

Beautiful, amazing..., we will be back!

We just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed "casa nostra". The house was beautifully maintained, with amazing grounds - the pool was a lifesaver during the 90-degree heat we experienced - and an incredibly wonderful proprietor. Alessandra was always very quick to respond to any question via text and in fact - when we arrived at the villa with car trouble - found a mechanic that would come to the villa, flatbed our car, fix it, and return it to us at the villa...in less than one hour! She waited with us for the mechanic and just in case, called a restaurant to feed us if the car wouldn't be done in time to go do some needed shopping! Amazing. Also many thanks for arranging the wonderful dinner for us and 25 of our guests. The food was delicious, well prepared and presented. the staff did all of the setup, all of the serving and all of the cleaning. It could not have gone better. All in all a wonderful holiday for my family. We will be back!

It is a beautiful house!

It is a beautiful house! Stylishly furnished and wonderful to live in. The terrace was blissful to stay. The furniture outside also perfect. Everywhere are plants (also inside) and flowers that are well cared for. The house is full of candles, so you can create a beautiful atmosphere, while it is also so atmospheric.

Our Dream Holiday - May- June 2017

We recently stayed at Casa Nostra (Casa Circe) for almost 3 weeks of our stay in Italy in June and July of 2017 travelling with 4 adults and 2 children (3 and 6yr old). The Villa was all we hoped for as far as a relaxing holiday and as a base to see some of the main tourist attractions of Italy. It was kept beautifully and the surrounds were nice and peaceful. Every window had a wonderful outlook. During our stay we enjoyed the local villages and people and for the first time in a long time we were reluctant to head home at the end of our stay. Highly recommended. Thank you Alessandra, Giovanni and all those we met during our stay. We hope to be back again one day soon.
